Welcome to Rapid Movers. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our moving and relocation services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or service request.

1. Service Agreement
By requesting a quote or booking our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Rapid Movers. Our services include but are not limited to residential moving, commercial relocation, interstate transport, office moving, storage solutions, and professional packing services.
All service agreements are subject to availability and confirmation by Rapid Movers. We reserve the right to decline service requests that do not meet our operational standards or safety requirements.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided are estimates based on the information you supply. Final costs may vary depending on actual volume, distance, access conditions, and additional services required. We provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be subject to change after this period due to fuel costs, seasonal demand, or other operational factors.
Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your service agreement. We accept various payment methods including bank transfer, cash, and mobile payments. Full payment is typically required upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Booking and Cancellation
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of deposit payment where applicable. We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving seasons.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled move date may receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations made within 7 days of the move date may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted amount. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled move are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 hours in advance when possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your new preferred date subject to availability.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the items to be moved, access conditions at both pickup and delivery locations, and any special requirements or restrictions.
You must ensure that all items are ready for loading at the agreed time. Delays caused by incomplete packing or inaccessible items may result in additional charges.
You are responsible for securing parking permits, elevator reservations, or any required building access permissions at both locations. Failure to arrange these may result in delays and additional fees.
You must disclose any hazardous materials, illegal items, or prohibited goods. Rapid Movers will not transport hazardous materials, perishable foods, plants, pets, firearms, explosives, or illegal substances.
5. Liability and Insurance
Rapid Movers carries comprehensive insurance coverage for all moves. Basic coverage is included in all service packages. Enhanced coverage options are available for high-value items.
We take extreme care in handling your belongings. However, normal wear and tear during transit is expected and not covered. Existing damage to items must be noted before the move begins.
Claims for damage or loss must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Claims should be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and photographs where applicable.
Rapid Movers is not liable for damage to items that were improperly packed by the customer, damage caused by inherent defects in the items, or indirect or consequential losses.
6. Storage Services
Our storage facilities are secure, climate-controlled, and monitored 24/7. Storage fees are charged monthly in advance. A minimum storage period may apply.
You are responsible for insuring stored items. While we maintain high security standards, Rapid Movers is not liable for damage or loss due to fire, flooding, theft, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Access to stored items requires 24 hours advance notice. Storage agreements may be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice.
7. Force Majeure
Rapid Movers is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, civil unrest, government restrictions, strikes, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your move at the earliest possible date.
8. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any disputes or complaints promptly and fairly. If you have a concern about our service, please contact our customer service team immediately.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication shall be subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
9. Amendments
Rapid Movers reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
